Canoes and kayaks are also available year-round for rental at the marina. These are among the easiest ways to explore or fish the shallow waters here. If you intend to fish, be prepared to drift when the tide is running. Houseboating From October to May you can rent a houseboat that sleeps up to 8 people at the marina. The boats come equipped with propane, linens, cookware, dishes, safety equipment and navigational charts. If you've never piloted one of these waterborne RVs before, no worry. The marina staff gives an orientation, as much for the boat's safety as yours.
