Where to See Florida Manatees Manateecam at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park is supposed to be live between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. but pictures are getting dated. Overall, the best time to see manatees in the wild is between December 15 and April 1 when they seek refuge in warm water springs. Blue Spring State Park A boardwalk bordering the clear spring run makes manatee viewing easy; and it's wheelchair accessible. Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge You'll find more manatees here than anywhere else in Florida. And you can swim with them here, too. Manatees in Captivity Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park View manatees underwater year-round without getting wet! An underwater observatory reveals the captive manatees living in the spring. Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium A fine place to see sharks, too. Lowry Park Zoo This remarkable also has a special manatee hospital. Miami Seaquarium One of the original leaders in manatee rescue. SeaWorld Orlando Excellent underwater views at Manatee Rescue. South Florida Museum Home to the famous Snooty, world's oldest captive manatee. Manatee Photo Gallery Underwater photos of manatees
