Manatees in the Wild

Except for Homosassa Springs, winter is the best time to see manatees at these locations.

Blue Spring State Park A boardwalk bordering the clear spring run makes manatee viewing easy; and it's wheelchair accessible.

Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge
You'll find more manatees here than anywhere else in Florida. And you can swim with them here, too.

Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park See manatees underwater year-round without getting wet!

Summertime Manatees In summer, manatees are hard to see in the wild, except here.

Manatees in Captivity
